Everypony knows that the best way to get your cutie mark is near death experiences! While it may seem Rainbow is trying to injure Applebloom, or even possibly send her to the pearly gates, in reality, she is giving her the best advice of her life!

Now that I think about it, since when did ponies get their cutie marks for sticking toothpicks in their eyes, getting stung by a swarm of tarantula hawks, shooting themselves in the face, jumping into an active volcano, drinking acid, breathing carbon monoxide, getting AIDS, or holding their urine for 7 weeks?
To be fair, you WERE pretty stupid to have agreed with doing those things.
